![]() Crystal Rock is named after it’s great visibility-crystal clear waters, in Castle Rock you usually can use a hook to face the current and feel yourself ‘flying’ while waiting to see the action comes to you, and Cauldron or also called Shotgun is a channel dive site, usually an adrenaline dive with a strong current (hence the name, shotgun) where you can enjoy the rollercoaster ride through the exhilarating rip current. The strong currents attract the big guys though, namely grey reef sharks, white tip reef sharks, and giant trevallies! Schools of fusiliers, bannerfish, and sometimes barracudas can be seen here as well. These sites can be subject to very strong currents hence are suitable for advanced divers. Macro life is also interesting, you can spot pygmy seahorse in the deeper area. Go a bit deeper and it’s not uncommon spotting reef sharks hiding between the cracks or swimming around. Schools are common, and pelagics are usual sightings also (Napoleons, Trevallies, etc). The pinnacle goes very deep to 70m, and is very rich with soft and hard corals, and abundant with fish. The name literally translates to rock with a hole which is what we see on the surface. Batu Bolong, it’s a pinnacle dive site.Some parts of the dive site has a sandy bottom area, suitable for finding macro surprises or for courses to practice your skills. As the name says, it’s turtle town, so turtles are commonly sighted! Sometimes sharks, cuttlefish, and sting rays can be spotted around here too. It has white sandy slope with beautiful coral gardens. Currents are common but it’s still a beginner friendly dive site.
